1. Midnight Train To Georgia

 

When I was a little girl my mom used to play Gladys Knight in the house and I would rollerskate to her music in the carport, and I would sing this music to the top of my lungs. This song brings up great memories of me and my mother. I’m so grateful that she’s always had wonderful music playing during my childhood. 

2. Every time You Go Away

 

There’s something about this song that brings a smile to my face every time the first note hits. I know it’s a sad song but there’s something musically about it. That makes me very happy. Perhaps it’s the beat or the melody… Who knows? But any music that makes me smile, I love.

 

3. Missing You

I never thought I would ever hear myself singing a dance version of any of my songs. Each time this track comes on. I giggle because it is such a stretch for me as an artist, and my inner Cher comes out. The beat to this song makes  me want to get up and dance, and that’s a great thing.
