CRACKER BARREL Joins with KELLY LANG to sing you a country lullaby.
Nashville, TN - (October 27, 2008) - Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores® have added a new section to their stores called the Cracker Barrel Baby© which includes a complete line of baby blankets, bottles, toys, and a very special album titled Lullaby Country which was written specifically for children. The album contains nine songs written, and sung, by one of Nashville’s most creative songwriters, Kelly Lang. Lullaby Country is an imaginary, musical playground filled with heartfelt songs for kids of all ages and for parents who may not want to hear the lyrics repeated over and over in an effort to keep their child quiet, especially if they are driving cross country, Lang has cleverly provided you with nine tracks of music only. The “music only” section also allows parents to compose their own lyrics or they can adapt hers to fit their child. As a dedicated mother of two, she is confident that every parent has at least one song in their heart when it comes to singing to their children.
Lang, whose recently completed sophomore album is titled Jagged Edges, most recently she worked on a very special album titled ©Partners in Rhyme which features country legend T.G. Sheppard singing with an impressive list of duet partners that includes, Willie Nelson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Lorrie Morgan, Crystal Gayle, George Jones, Merle Haggard and many more. Lang is very proud of the fact that she not only sang on this project, she also wrote ten of the songs, but she says Lullaby Country will always be one of her most cherished endeavors because it was inspired by her first born child and she is delighted that the Cracker Barrel chain has embraced this unique project.
